New features since latest official release 6.0.8

• Semi automatic migration from version 5 to version 6.

• Field 700 - Edit text

  • Enable editing of text content of “C-column” descriptions from field 700.

• Recent files list

  • A “recent files list” of opened or created files will be maintained at the user level and available next to File Manager and as menu item Victim -> View -> Recent files.

• 835 Body Sketch

  • Implemented as individual clickable SVG elements per body area. Colour-coded State and comments may be added to the selected area as well as the “Stamps” known from V5.

• 840 Skeleton sketch

  • Implemented as individual clickable SVG elements per bone. Colour-coded State and comments may be added to the selected bone as well as the “Stamps” known from V5.

• Manual dental search

  • Addition to “Match with this dentition” to be able to do a match with a virtual dentition, either starting out empty or with a template from the current file and with the ability to tweak matching methods.

• Relationship Notes Consolidated View

  • View, filter, search and report a list of Relationship Notes (formal and informal links) across all files, operations and incidents.

• In Identification Report, manage “Date of Body Examination” with options from Field 170

  • Ask user to choose from any of the dates in Field 170 or to enter it separately in the report.

• Ability to show custom validation message on file number masks

  • User could be confused by the general ““Your file number must conform to mask”” message, but masks may have intricate constructions that are better explained by the administrator that expressed the rule. Add a “Validation error message” text field to each mask and display it on file create dialog if validation fails.

• Landing page before login

  • Optional customer-designed landing/welcome/acception page can be displayed before forwarding to login server

Improvements

• Better discrimination between automatic and specific dental attributes

  • You can now select a “wizard stick” attribute to force the attribute to follow whatever diagnoses are entered on the tooth. If a specific attribute is clicked, the wizard turns off and the new attribute is kept no matter how the diagnoses are being altered.

• Tooth Navigation Arrows

  • Tooth navigation arraw buttons on Dental Modal Windows like Diagnosis Picker and Tooth Images are working with “Odontology logic” forward and backward.

• Reconciliation/Comparison reports

  • Captions and placeholders during creation has been more accurate and more options to create links from directly from different sources.

• Attachments Display

  • Attachments can now be displayed in a new browser tab/window, and File Details are included with each picture.

• Restyle form field additional captions

  • Move long compressed additional captions like “describe and…” to below control to enable better alignment of data entry fields, despite not being fully true to the INTERPOL form layout.

• Fld560 restyle edit to grid design

  • Editing family members or DNA specimens are not like other data fields and users gets confused with this different “edit/add” layout. Change edit layout into a grid.

• Measurements, metric/imperial needs auto conversion during edit

  • Ask user to choose between entry of metric or imperial figures, then only enable these fields and calculate the opposite values.

• Detect and report missing API server responses

  • Add status message in bottom line where status of server connection(s) are shown and improve general messaging about unusual connection events.

• Import using JOB server

  • Ability to send an import request to the JOB server so that the user can do other activities while import is running. Status is reported through User Messaging.

• Attachment count per description line

  • Include the “number of attachments” tag on each description line, i.e. a specific clothing item, instead of only at full field level.

• Add attachments in grid lines

  • Attachments can now be added before grid lines (i.e. 300) is saved. Adding an attachment performs an implicit save of the grid data. This behavior can be turned off if you won’t allow implicit saving.

• Country lookups

  • Now sorted by visible name.

• Reconciliation Visibility

  • More strict rules on general visibility of Reconciliation or ID reports that are not final.

• Dental Match

  • User-requested Dental Match between two specific files directly from File Manager

• Odontogram

  • Cleaner appearance where frame of teeth with MAM, MPM, DIA1 and DIA2 (Missing with or without Diastema) attributes is not rendered.

• Export/Import

  • When a V6 exported file is again imported, it can suggest the correct import Incident destination.

From version 6.0.0 it is necessary to have a License to run the system.
