MPUB Files
MPUB is an acronym for Missing Persons and Unknown Bodies. The 900 page is a specially designed National Missing Person and Unidentified Bodies database and form to be used in the day-to-day work with missing persons and recovered human remains not related to a disaster.
The treatment of of information on missing persons not linked to a disaster is different from that relating to disaster, as the individual is more likely to be found alive. In that perspective, it does not make sense to make a full missing persons description right away according to the DVI AM/Yellow Pages.
If a missing person or discovered human remains becomes a long-term case, just add information in the remaining DVI form pages to create a full AM/Yellow Page description of the missing person.
