If you just want to connect your computer or handheld device to an existing DVI6 server, you don’t need any installation, but just point your browser to the URL your organisation has published for DVI use.

After your organizational DVI contact has provided you with licence details, you may install the system on your laptop for off-line single user access using the Single User Installation Guide

You will probably need a police network administrator to install the system for shared use on a network, please see Server Installation Guide
