Officer
An Officer is a person that uses the DVI System or otherwise participates in solving the files of the disaster, i.e. by filling and signing paper forms or perform examinations on behalf of the police.
Some Officers has a login to the DVI System, so they are also a User of the system. User logins may be managed by the police organisation and linked to the Officer record, so that your officer details are already known when you start the system, or you may be asked to login and authenticate with user name and password before you are granted access to use the system with your particular authorisations.
An Officer is owned by the employing Agency, and an Agency administrator creates and deletes the Officer account (and linked User account if relevant) and may edit all details.
